Answers for custom pet portrait orders
These answers are written for made-to-order artwork, where the photo, preview, approval, and production steps all matter.
Do I get to approve the artwork before it is produced?
Yes. We send a digital preview within 2 to 3 business days. Production starts only after you approve the preview.
What counts as the included revision?
The included revision covers one practical edit round before approval, such as background color, crop, name spelling, memorial date, or small expression adjustments. A completely different photo or a new portrait direction may require a new preview fee.
Can I order with more than one pet?
Yes. Upload the clearest photo for each pet and include their names in the notes. If the photos were taken separately, we will balance their scale and placement in the preview.
What type of photo should I upload?
A bright, sharp image taken near eye level works best. The face, eyes, ears, and distinctive markings should be visible. Avoid screenshots, heavy filters, dark photos, and images where the face is very small.
Can you use an old memorial photo?
Often, yes. Send the best version you have. If the image is too blurry or too small to make a respectful portrait, we will ask for another photo before artwork begins.
Can I change the background or add a name?
Yes. Add background, name, date, collar, or mood notes in the personalization box. We will reflect reasonable requests in the preview when the product type supports them.
How long does the full order take?
The preview is usually ready in 2 to 3 business days. After approval, production usually takes 4 to 7 business days. Shipping usually takes 5 to 10 business days and includes tracking.
Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel within 12 hours, or any time before artwork has started. Once a preview is in progress, the order is treated as custom work because artist time has already been reserved.
Can I return a custom portrait or gift?
Approved personalized items cannot be returned because they are made for your photo and notes. If your item arrives damaged or with a production error, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue and packaging.
What if tracking says delivered but I cannot find the package?
Check nearby delivery spots and your local carrier first. If the package still cannot be located, contact us within 7 days of the delivery scan so we can review the shipment with you.
